Elder Scrolls Online

We play on the North American (NA) server. Our guild tabard uses the Sanguine Rose as our crest. It’s a Daedric symbol of Lord Sanguine.

Our guild has the following features available:

  • GUILD BANK: Access to the guild bank at any city-level banker. Unfortunately, no way to access it elsewhere.
  • GUILD HALL: Designated guild house with workstations. Go to Guild Roster, right click @ginsengsamurai, then click Visit Primary Residence.
  • GUILD TABARD: You can purchase a wearable guild tabard at any city banker, via the Guild Store. It costs 2,000 gold. It goes into the costume slot of your character sheet.

* The guild store will only sell you the tabard, but won’t sell anything else because it’s not fully activated unless the guild has at least 50 members.

Increase your bag space with gold

You can alternatively increase it account-wide through the crown store via paid currency crowns. However, it’s much better on your real wallet by just paying with gold (game currency). Go to any of the bag vendors (https://eso-hub.com/en/guides/inventory-bank-space-increase-guide/pack-merchant-location) and you can buy increments of 10 bag slots for some gold. It gets more expensive as you want more slots.

Personal banking is account wide

You can store all your stuff, as well as your gold in the personal bank, which can be accessed at any city.

Read all bookshelves

Go up to all bookshelves and press E when you’re near them. This will open up the book. You don’t need to actually flip the pages. You can leave or close immediately. The reason for doing this, is that you will have the chance to gain a point in any of your non-class specific skills.

Read all of the blue glowing books

If you’re into lore and collecting lore, just go up to one, press E. They will go towards your collections and achievements. They also give you Mages Guild experience.

Claim your daily reward

You get experience scrolls, awesome elixirs, mounts, and other goodies. It’s free for everyone.

Acquaint yourself with the Fighters and Mages’ guilds

To put a point in Persuasion and Intimidation, which allow you to do a different branch of certain quests.

Quest tracking is wonky but it works if you know how to

Darren was originally frustrated with how quests seem to jump all over the place every time you complete a segment of a chain. To track the exact goal of your current segment of the quest chain, press J to open up the quest journal, make sure the one you want is selected, then press M for the map. 99% of the time, it will display the exact place of where you need to go. If it shows you the inside of a dungeon and don’t know where that is exactly, right click that map once, and it will show you the region of the location of that dungeon.

Keen Eye for crafting skills

Makes ingredients glow in the wild. Normally, you have to notice them out in the wild, but with points in Keen Eye, they become more visible by glowing. More points mean they start glowing when you are further away.

Hirelings for crafting skills

Every day, a hireling will gather some resources and deliver them to your mail box. Except Jewelry Crafting and Alchemy, all other professions have access to hirelings.

You can learn all professions

In the beginning, just focus on the ones that you will need the most, expanding more into others when you want to. The wording of the quest giver for crafting is off. They make it sound like you can only certify in one area, but the fact is you can learn all of them.

Skyshards give you 1/3 of a skill point

Everyone who plays Skyrim will know about them but for those who didn’t, anytime you find them, get them. There are tons all over Tamriel.

Wayshrines is your way to fast travel and can be done for free

Normally, if you want to fast travel somewhere, just open up your map, and click a white-shaded wayshrine. For a price, it will take you there. However, you can fast travel for free, if you activate a wayshrine and clicking on the wayshrine on the map to travel to.

Every class allows you to wield any weapon, don any type of armour

While putting points into your class skills is ideal, you don’t have to. At level 15, you unlock a 2nd action bar. So you can switch between play styles on the fly. This is especially true when you go higher up the levels.

Resetting your character points

Go to any temple that has shrines, and from there, you can reset your attributes, skills, or morphs. They cost a certain amount of gold the higher level you become. Read this guide for shrine types and locations: https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Shrines. Normally, I just go to the temple in Solitude located in Western Skyrim, because it’s easy to get to. There, the Shrine of Stuhn resets your skills and/or morphs; Shrine of Mara allows you to get married with rings and gives both characters while online, a 10% to their experience; and Shrine to Kyne to reset your attributes.

Personal housing

There are three categories of housing: Staple, Classic, and Notable. Go to the crowns store and go to housing. You can teleport to any of them to see an unfurnished or furnished preview. To see it furnished when you’re there, just press F5 to access the pre-purchase functions. Staple housing allows you to buy them with gold unfurnished, or with crowns fully furnished. Only Classic and Notable will require crowns to purchase.

Unfortunately, visitors can only interact with housing objects but not move them or place them. They cannot actually store things there, but can access a personal bank if the feature is there. This is why guild housing isn’t officially a thing.

To access purchased houses or to visit your friend’s house, just click M to open up your map, then click on the House icon on the menu to the right of the map. That will list out all of the houses you have access to.

Mini-Games

There are four mini-games you can partake.

Lockpicking Chests

There are five pins you have to press down with your lockpick. If you push down too much, it will wobble violently and break your lockpick. If you don’t push down enough, the pin will spring back up. To resolve the pin, you need to push it down until it shakes a little and quickly let go. Chests have difficulty levels, so the bar will go down faster if it’s harder.

Treasure Maps

There are roughly two types of treasure maps. One is a 2D sketch of a place such as a building and a tree with an arrow pointing at where the treasure is. The other is a top-down sketch of a map with an X on the spot. The X is never precisely where the treasure is, but it won’t be difficult to find. It’s usually a chest or two lying around.

Scrying (Uncovering buried treasures)

This is a fun one. First, go to a Scryer. You can find one at Solitude city in Western Skyrim. The location is called Antiquarian Circle. It’s across from the Mages Guild. They will teach you all you need to know to get the skill.

Afterwards, access your Inventory Quickslot tab, right click the Antiquarian’s Eye object, and select Add To Quickslot. Close the inventory. Press and hold down Q to access the Quickslot Wheel, and move your cursor to select the Quickslot item you want to use quickly.

Now, to find buried treasure in the region, go to your Quest Journal, and click on the Antiquities tab. Under Scryable, select Current Zone, and on the right side, click the Antiquity you want to find. Alternatively, you can find the available Antiquities in the region you’re in by going to the map, and clicking the Antiquities tab, then right click the antiquity to scry.

Here, you have to connect hexes that have a chain of the same type of icon with the swirly things. You have limited clicks. You should try to connect all of the swirly things together.

Afterwards, go to that location on the map. Once there, activate your Antiquarian’s Eye once, and it will spawn a blue pulsating arrow thing. Go towards that direction, until you find a sparkling mound. Activate it and it will start the digging procedure.

You start off with an augur and a brush. Use the augur to find the possible dig site. If it’s green, then you’re close or on top of it. Use the brush to sweep the dirt and stone away to reveal possible treasure.

Depending on the treasure type, it could be something you bring to the Antiquarian Circle to submit your piece. Otherwise, it’s just something you can sell or put it in your house as an aesthetic.

Tales of Tribute Card Game

This is a cool card game you can play against NPCs, your friends, or in a ranked system. First, go to High Isle (Westbay Wayshrine) which is in Gonfalon Bay, an island north of Summerset. Basically, look for leaflets around the city or go to the Gaming Hall at the very south part of the city. You get there via a short bridge. There, a Tribute NPC will show you how to play the game.
